DISCUSSIONS FOR PROSPERITY TOWN HALL MEETING HEADS TO SANDY POINT

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 10, 2016 (SKNIS):  The Government of National Unity is scheduled to host the third in a series of town hall meetings dubbed “Discussions for Prosperity” on Thursday August 11, 2016, at the Sandy Point Community Centre at 7:30 pm.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education, Sports, Youth and Culture and Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher 5, the Honourable Shawn K. Richards, while a guest on “Working for You “ on Wednesday August 10, 2016, took the opportunity to invite nationals to attend and listen via media to this informative and  interactive forum.

Deputy Prime Minister Richards indicated that the government is open to all suggestions as it works assiduously to ensure its prosperity agenda is carried out.

“Feel free to ask questions. Feel free to criticize because we are here to listen,” the Deputy Prime Minister said, adding, “that is what the town hall meetings are about.”

Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, the Honorable Lindsay Grant, Minister of Tourism, International Trade and Commerce, and the Honourable Eugene Hamilton, who is the Minister of Agriculture, Health et al will highlight the important strides made by the government thus far.

The Town Meeting will be broadcast live on ZIZ Radio and Television.
