Basseterre, St. Kitts – The William Marcus Natta Memorial Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications from fifth and sixth grade students at the Tucker-Clarke and Irishtown Primary Schools to assist with school-related expenses. The Fund will select two students from each who have demonstrated civic involvement and academic excellence.

Last year’s Natta Scholars were 12 year-old Vinika O’Loughlin, a future attorney and 10 year-old Zeniah Jeffers, an aspiring teacher. The Fund was established in memory of Mr William Marcus Natta, former army sergeant and trade unionist, who worked diligently within his community and promoted high academic achievement among his family and community.
