A BILL to amend the Immigration Act, Cap. 6.02 and for matters connected therewith.

 

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the National Assembly of Saint Christopher and Nevis and by the authority of the same as follows:

 

  1. Short title and commencement.

This Act may be cited as the Immigration (Amendment) Act, 2016.

 

  1. Interpretation.

In this Act, “Act” means the Immigration Act, Cap. 6.02.

 

  1. Amendment of section 13.

The Act is amended in section 13 by replacing it as follows

 

“13. Duty to provide passenger information

The provisions of the Advance Passenger Information Act, 2016, shall apply to the use of             advance passenger information in Saint Christopher and Nevis.”.

 

  1. Amendment of Fourth Schedule.

The Act is amended by repealing the Fourth Schedule.
