ALL Government Early Childhood Centres in the Federation will be closed tomorrow September 5th until further notice.
ALL Government schools and Educational Institutions will be closed on Wednesday September 6th until further notice.
ALL Government Primary and Secondary School Teachers and Auxiliary Staff are required to report to work tomorrow September 5th at regular opening hours EXCEPT if they receive word from the Ministry of Education to the contrary.
ALL such announcements will be the voices of officials in the Ministry; being either The Minister of Education or the Permanent Secretary of Education. Releases from the Ministry of Education via the Education Media Unit are also official.
Further announcements in relation to educational institutions will be issued following the passage of Hurricane Irma.
