This comes as Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris launched the Sustainable Growth Fund (SGF) investment option during a function at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dubai on Tuesday, April 10. The Prime Minister was supported at that event by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU), Mr. Les Khan.

Under this new investment option, a single applicant will be required to make a contribution of US $150,000, inclusive of Government fees whereas the contribution for a family of up to four members will be US $195,000.

The event, hosted by CS Global Partners, was attended by international marketing agents who have supported the country and its Citizenship by Investment programme over the years.

The agents in attendance applauded the new Sustainable Growth Fund as a replacement of the Hurricane Relief Fund, and voiced their support of the programme as it has maintained its creativity and the high level of service that they have received and become accustomed to over the last two years.

The CBI partners also commended St. Kitts and Nevis for maintaining the “platinum brand” for which its programme has become internationally recognized for, and confirmed that the Federation’s economic citizenship programme “was truly the best in the world.”

In addition to the new Fund, Prime Minister Harris and Mr. Khan also updated potential investors on the real estate option changes recently made.

The St. Kitts and Nevis delegation responded to questions on a number of matters including correspondent banking and payments in alternative currencies, and received suggestions on ways to continue to improve the CBI programme going forward.

Also present at Tuesday’s function were the Consul General at the Consulate of St. Kitts and Nevis in Dubai, Mr. Justin Hawley; Chairman of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank, Mr. Alexis Nisbett and President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Faron Lawrence, who is also a local real estate developer.
