Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis:

moderate chance of afternoon showers.

Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Hurricane Florence currently
northeast of the area and moving west, is generating a slack
pressure gradient resulting in light winds across the Eastern
Caribbean. These light winds will in turn cause temperatures to be
relatively warm. Due to daytime heating and marginal moisture
expected to move across the region, cloud build ups could trigger
localized shower activity. However, at most a moderate chance of
showers under fair to partly cloudy skies is anticipated.
The St. Kitts Met Services is closely monitoring
Hurricane Isaac which is expected to strengthen further
before weakening later this week as it continues to move
towards the island chain. Residents are reminded that we
are in the peak of the hurricane season and are
encouraged to ensure that their disaster plan is ready.
We will continue to provide daily updates on Hurricane
Isaac which should be in the vicinity of the island chain
by mid-week
