BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, March 11, 2019 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – The Team Unity Cabinet, under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, today (Monday, March 11) received a delegation from LIAT to discuss a wide range of matters affecting the cash-strapped Caribbean airline.

The three-member LIAT delegation was led by Diane Shurland, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and also included LIAT’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Rojer J. Inglis and the Chief Commercial Officer, Audra Walker.

Monday’s presentation to the Team Unity Cabinet follows the 30th Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM held in St. Kitts and Nevis from February 26-27, and at which the plight of the financially-troubled regional airline was one of the major focus areas.
