The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College, Health Science Division wishes to inform the General Public that registration is now open for enrollment in a 6–weeks Certificate course in Elderly Care which runs from 4thMay – 8th June 2019. Please note that the course will be conducted on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Health Science Division on Lockhart Street, Basseterre.
Individuals who are interested in enhancing their knowledge and skills to provide dignified and compassionate care for the elderly population as well as health care professionals including nurses are invited to register.
Some topics of focus include Client Rights, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Meal Planning and Feeding, Pressure Area Care, First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
The practical skills training will be done in our state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation Laboratory.
Registration forms can be collected at the Main Office at the Burdon Street campus.
The registration fee is $300.00. Deadline for registration is Tuesday 30th April 2019.
