The Ministry of International Trade comprises four distinct departments—Department of Trade, Department of Industry and Commerce, Department of Consumer Affairs and Department of St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards.  The mandate of the Ministry is to facilitate international trade through the implementation of appropriate trade policies while ensuring that the benefits from participating in trade agreements and trade relations are beneficial to our people and stimulate economic growth.

The panel of six will engage its audience on several issues within the Ministry of International Trade including the CARICOM Single Market and Economy; the role of sensitizing the private sector on trade issues that affect it; the training and grooming of small businesses to prepare them for trading in goods and services, locally, regionally and internationally; the importance of ensuring that goods traded are of international standards; and day to day inspections and routine checks done with respect to protection of consumer rights, among many other issues.

Hosted by Lesroy Williams, “Working for You” offers news, views, reviews, interviews and all the happenings of the Team Unity Administration, which has pledged transparency, accountability, good governance and a fair share for all citizens of the Federation.
