BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, June 24, 2019 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister)– The excellent record of service, philanthropy and constructive engagement of Rotarians everywhere was hailed by Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris on Saturday (June 22) evening.

Prime Minister Harris was at the time celebrating with Rotarians at a massive 3-in-1 event – the Rotary District 7030 District Governor Handover, the Rotary Club of St. Kitts Club President Installation and the 50thAnniversary of the Charter.

The event was held at the Carambola Restaurant on the South East Peninsula and was attended by hundreds of persons, including visiting Rotarians.

The highlight of the evening’s event was the installation of Mr. Trevor Blake as new Governor of Rotary District 7030. Mr. Blake became the first Rotary District 7030 Governor from St. Kitts and Nevis in over 25 years.

Prime Minister Harris commended District Governor Blake on his important and high achievement and also extended to him best wishes in the execution of his duties.
