The Ministry of Agriculture, Co-operatives et al with support from the Embassy of Argentina based in Barbados and the Inter-American Institute for Co-operation on Agriculture is collaborating to re-establish beekeeping in St. Kitts Nevis. Ms. Liliana Galez and Ms. Elian Tourn, two beekeeping experts from Argentina will be visiting St. Kitts Nevis on a beekeeping investigative mission from 9th to 13th December 2019.
In preparation for this visit, all beekeepers and persons interested in getting actively involved in beekeeping are invited to a special meeting on Thursday 21st November 2019 from 4.30 pm at the large conference room at the Department of Agriculture, La Guerite. Youths in St. Kitts interested in beekeeping are specially invited to this meeting.
