Theprime minister was accompanied today by the Minister of Tourism, the Honourable Lindsay Grant; Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Andrew Skerritt and the Director of Facilitation at the St. Kitts Investment Promotion Agency (SKIPA), Mrs. Dorietta Fraites.

Duringhis stop at Hillsboro Suites and Residences, Prime Minister Harris commended real estate developer Dr. Ken Ballantyne for his vision and foresight in bringing the luxurious community resort to the Federation.

“We had an opportunity to see the work at an advanced stage of completion and I would just really like to thank Dr. Ballantyne and his team for their confidence in the economy at this particular moment in time,” Prime Minister Harris said.

Atthe luxury boutique resort at Palmetto Point, the honourable prime minister expressed his pleasure in the type of high end services that will be offered to guests and residents who visit the Sunset Reef resort.

Dr. Harris said, “I want to thank David (Fletcher) and Ron (Marsh) for making this dream come true and for adding something unique to our tourism and our visitor experience here. It’s a lovely property. They have transformed perhaps what was just an area running wild with trees into something of great value and beauty to St. Kitts and Nevis.”

Similarly, the prime minister praised Mr. John Zuliani and his team at Royal St. Kitts Hotel for the continued investment in the Federation. The villa project is Mr. Zuliani’s third major investment project in recent years. The Cove development is nearing completion while the Royal Plaza located directly in front of the hotel was completed in 2018.

“Where we can do anything to facilitate investments of high quality; investments that would add something unique and add to the visitor experience as well as the experience of our own people…you will find the Government to be a most willing partner with you in these endeavours,” Prime Minister Harris added.
