A MESSAGE FROM AMBASSADOR LIBURD – “GETTING VACCINATED IS THE WAY FOR US TO GO”

His Excellency Ian Liburd the Permanent Representative to the United Nations got his first opportunity today 9th of April and never hesitated as he intimated that “Getting vaccinated is the way for us to go in St Kitts and Nevis”.  Liburd continued “We would not really be able to resume activity in our Federation and all around the world, until we are vaccinated.”

There are many different vaccines available to protect people against several diseases including influenza and measles. Now more than ever a vaccination is a safe and effective way to prevent disease and save lives

“Let us rebuild our Economy better than it was before by getting vaccinated and staying ahead of the game” Liburd said.   He further expressed the view that we are all supposed to be on an even playing field, but St Kitts-Nevis still has an advantage of being one of the few places in the world that had no deaths or large community spread of the coronavirus like in other countries.

We were 1 of only 8 countries in the World that were considered covid-free.  We have a nation of elderly people that we love and must protect.  To continue protecting our present and our future children we must take part and support this Global Unification to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.

Tourism is the backbone of our main economy.  We will not forget those who still have not been able to find work since the pandemic struck.       Our leaders put life before livelihoods.

Your Government cares more for YOU, Your family and Your Future.  Let us all get vaccinated!
