The Nevis Island Administration, Ministry of Education, Library Services and Information Technology invites applications from suitably qualified interested public servants to fill the following posts within the Education Department:

I. Deputy Principal Education Officer salary Scale: N39-N41 Qualifications:

 A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

Cl A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an administrative leader in areas such as Education Officer, Headteacher, Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster or Head of Subject Departnent

• Education Officer Responsible for Secondary Schools salary Scale: N33-N40 Qualifications:

Cl A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

D A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Graduate or Trained Graduate Teacher in Secondary School, a Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster or Head of Subject Departrnent

• School Meals Coordinator salary Scale: N33-N39 Qualifications:

O A minimum Of a Bachelors degree in Hospitality or Food Service Management,

Health, Nutrition or related field

 Profound knowledge of financial management, record-keeping and excellent computer skills

• Teacher Resource Centre Coordinator salary Scale: N33-N38 Qualifications:

Cl A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field C] Experience in both teaching and management will be assets.

• Deputy Headmaster Responsible for the Nevis Sixth Form College salary Scale: N39-N40 Qualifications:

 A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Headteacher, Deputy Headmaster or Head of Subject Department, Graduate or Trained Graduate Teacher.

 A teaching certificate will be an asset

 Teaching and management experience will be assets

• Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) Officer salary Scale: N22-N27 Qualifications:
  • A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Data

Management, Computer Science or related field

• A working knowledge of Statistical Analysis will be an asset
• Graduate Teacher – Physics salary Scale: N30-N38 Qualifications:

 A minimum of a Bachelo€s degree in Physics or related field

• Graduate Teacher — Chemistry salary Scale: N30-N38 Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelofs degree in Chemistry or related field
• Graduate Teacher — Mathematics salary Scale: N30-N38 Qualifications:

Cl A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mathemaåcs or related field

1. Guidance Counsellor salary Scale: N33-N38 Qualifications:

Cl A minimum of a Bachelo€s degree in Psychology, School Counselling, Counselling and Guidance or a related field

 A Master’ s degree in any of the above listed field will be an asset
