PRIME MINISTER HARRIS TO LEAD ST. KITTS AND NEVIS DELEGATION TO DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, November 11, 2021 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris will lead a delegation from St. Kitts and Nevis to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where he will attend and participate in a number of activities as part of EXPO 2020 that is currently ongoing. 

Expo 2020 Dubai, being held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, under the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, is an international event that is used as a platform to showcase the technological innovations and cultural heritage of close to 200 participating countries, including St. Kitts and Nevis.

During his visit to Dubai, which comes compliments the Government of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister Harris is expected to participate in St. Kitts and Nevis’ National Day ceremony scheduled for November 16, 2021.

Additionally, the Honourable Prime Minister will use the opportunity to participate in a number of bilateral meetings and engage with citizens of the Federation residing in the region. 

While in Dubai, Prime Minister Harris will also promote the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme of St. Kitts and Nevis to potential investors there. 

Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris is scheduled to depart the Federation on Friday, November 12, 2021. 

In Prime Minister Harris’ absence, Deputy Prime Minister the Honourable Shawn Richards will assume the responsibility as acting Prime Minister
