The St Kitts-Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SKNCIC) notes with profound sadness the passing of Mrs. Doris Archibald-Webbe, Vice President ofGovernment Business at Jaro Electronics. During Doris’ thirty-six (36) years tenure in the Manufacturing sector, she served on the Manufacturing Committee at the SKNCIC and was a staunch advocate for building resilience within the manufacturing sector and staff empowerment, especially supporting the women working in the sector.

Mrs. Archibald-Webbe was a highly respected leader in the private sector, she was articulate and enjoyed a good rapport with our membership.

SKNCIC extends our deepest sympathies to her family, friends, and the Manufacturing Community in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Doris was custodian for a staff savings project at Jaro which encourages the employees to save at least 10% of their wages. This project has proven to be a success as this has helped the employees to have access to funding through small loans from the penny bank.

We pray that her soul rests in peace and we wish the Webbe Family consolation at this time.
