BASSETERRE (15th May, 2023): The Ferry Terminal came alive with excitement and bustling business activity on Friday as the first ‘Bar Hop’ promotional event kicked off for the 25th anniversary of the St Kitts Music Festival.

Presented by EK The Real Right Entertainment, the lively bar hop, aptly named ‘To Mom With Love,’ featured enthusiastic participants including mothers, dancing and singing for fantastic prizes generously sponsored by Courts, Digicel, and Carib Brewery. Patrons were also thrilled to win tickets to the St. Kitts Music Festival and White Sands.

The highlight of the evening was the grand unveiling of six charismatic ladies who have been chosen as the St. Kitts Music Festival Ambassadors. They are Zahara James, Onique Phipps, Shakailah Bridgewater, Liberty Woodley, Jontelle Hensley and Ryanna Buchanan.

In attendance at the event was Ms. Tivanna Wharton, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, who expressed her delight in witnessing the joyful atmosphere.
“I was truly delighted to see people enjoying themselves at the various bars, retail stores and food vendors which clearly demonstrated the immense and diverse business opportunities associated with the St. Kitts Music Festival,” remarked Wharton. “As we prepare to welcome the world to one of the most highly anticipated music events in the Caribbean, I encourage all our entrepreneurs to fully embrace and capitalize on the exciting business prospects as they emerge at the remaining six bar hop experience.”

Featuring an impressive lineup of international, regional, and local musicians, the festival offers a diverse range of music genres, from the electrifying beats of soca to the soulful melodies of reggae. Music lovers are sure to find something to get their hearts pumping and feet moving during this three-day celebration. Don’t miss out!

Log on to the Festival’s website: www.stkittsmusicfestival.com  to purchase tickets for US$50 or EC$135, and view further updates.
