SKELEC TO CULMINATE 12TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WITH CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY

Basseterre, St. Kitts (22nd August 2023)— The St. Kitts Electricity Company will culminate its 12th Anniversary celebrations with Customer Appreciation Day to be held on Friday August 25th, 2023, from 8:00am to 1:00pm at SKELEC’s Administration Parking Lot on Central Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts. 

SKELEC is currently celebrating its 12th anniversary under the theme, “Powering progress for 12 electrifying years.” The celebrations for the company’s 12th anniversary, included worship at the Antioch Baptist Church, followed by a staff luncheon, and an awards ceremony held at Spice Mill on Sunday 13th August 2023. A total of 52 employees were recognized for their contribution to the organization. Mr. Dwyer Edmeade, IT Manager, was among the 52 awardees, and received the Iron Pillar Award in recognition of his exceptional dedication, unwavering commitment, and outstanding contributions to SKELEC. On August 19, 2023, a Family Fun Day was held at FLOW grounds for the staff and their families to engage in a variety of games, food, and entertainment. The anniversary activities will conclude with Customer Appreciation Day on Friday August 25th. Customer Appreciation Day is dedicated to giving back to our customers, community, and stakeholders who have relied on SKELEC to provide electricity for over a decade. As such, SKELEC has partnered with the Ministry of Health and will be providing health checkups, and tokens to customers who make bill payments on the day.
