Basseterre, St. Kitts, (28 February, 2024) – The Ministry of Small Business extends a cordial
invitation to entrepreneurs and business owners across St. Kitts and Nevis to join a
transformative virtual workshop on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 6:30 – 7:30 PM via Zoom.
This workshop aims to unpack the OAS Women’s Economic Empowerment Business
Formalization Toolkit, meticulously crafted to empower women-led and owned businesses in our
Federation.

The toolkit is a roadmap designed to empower women to make informed decisions for
themselves and their businesses when it comes to key matters such as registering a business,
social security, inland revenue, financial business accounts, bookkeeping vs accounts, among
several other important considerations for MSMEs seeking success and growth in the region. The
workshop is open for attendance by both male and female entrepreneurs.
