31 May 2024 – The Cabinet Secretariat is pleased to announce the launch of a new Policies tab on the official government website, gov.kn. This new addition serves as a comprehensive repository for all current government policies, providing the public with easy access to important information and enhancing transparency and engagement.

The Policies tab, now live on gov.kn, is designed to host a wide array of policies across various sectors. This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing commitment to promote openness and accountability. As new policies are developed and approved, they will be added to this repository, ensuring that the information remains up-to-date and readily accessible to all citizens.

By making government policies publicly accessible, the Cabinet Secretariat aims to foster greater transparency in governance. The public can now review the guidelines and principles that shape public administration and decision-making processes. Access to policy documents empowers the public to stay informed about government actions and initiatives, encouraging active participation in civic matters and promoting a more engaged and informed electorate.

Additionally, the Policies tab provides a valuable resource for researchers, students, and academics, offering a centralized location for accessing official documents and facilitating research and analysis on government operations and policy impacts. The online repository simplifies the process of obtaining policy information, allowing users to quickly find and review policies relevant to their interests or needs. Furthermore, clear and accessible policy documents help ensure that government initiatives are understood and correctly implemented by various stakeholders, including public servants, community organisations, and private sector entities.

The Cabinet Secretariat welcomes persons to explore the new Policies tab on https://www.gov.kn/government-policies/ and take advantage of this resource.
