Saint Kitts and Nevis National Graduates from Azerbaijani University

Basseterre, Saint Kitts (17th June 2024) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce the graduation of Ms. Kayla Weekes, who earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from ADA University in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 13 June 2024.

Ms. Weekes is the first and only national of Saint Kitts and Nevis to be awarded the 2020 scholarship from the Government of Azerbaijan for citizens of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Member Countries. This remarkable feat not only celebrates her individual success but also underscores the strengthened educational and diplomatic ties between Saint Kitts and Nevis and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
