The Department of Agriculture St. Kitts is reminding the public that during the week, 8th December 2024, the St. Kitts Abattoir will exclusively accommodate traders.

Therefore, all other livestock owners are strongly advised to make use of the Abattoir’s slaughtering and processing services this week, ahead of the busy period in December.

The facility is set to accommodate a weekly maximum capacity of 110 small ruminants, 100 pigs, and 7 cows. Persons wishing to use the Abattoir’s services in the month of November and the first week of December must indicate their desired date and number to secure their spot. 

For further inquiries, interested persons are asked to contact the St. Kitts Abattoir at 869-465-7938.
