(MOA Basseterre, St. Kitts, 24 September 2025): As the Federation prepares to host the 19th Caribbean Week of Agriculture (CWA2025), Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources, Honourable Samal Duggins, has emphasized that the event provides a transformative platform for St. Kitts and Nevis to be positioned as the Caribbean’s Agricultural Hub.

It’s our chance to showcase our progress, deepen regional collaboration, and position our Federation at the heart of Caribbean food security and agricultural innovation.”
The Honourable Minister concluded by reaffirming the Federation’s pride in welcoming the region and highlighting its commitment to resilience and sustainability. “We’re proud to open our doors to the region and show how St. Kitts and Nevis is sowing the seeds of a sustainable, resilient future”, he expressed.
