PM HARRIS TO ADDRESS ISSUES OF NATIONAL INTEREST ON SEPTEMBER 10 (TONIGHT’S) EDITION OF STRAIGHT TALK

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 10, 2018 (SKNIS) – The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, will make a special guest appearance on tonight’s edition (Monday, September 10) of “Straight Talk” hosted by the Honourable Ian Patches Liburd.

Prime Minister Harris and Minister Liburd will engage listeners of the popular radio programme on WINNFM 98.9 for two hours of open and interactive discussions on several topics of national interest. Straight Talk airs from 8 – 10 p.m.

These include the decision by the Team Unity Government to take the necessary steps to bring about an end to the outdated debtor’s jail system; the government’s hurricane home repair programme; hurricane preparedness; an update on the government’s Poverty Alleviation Programme, as well as plans for the observation of the Federation’s 35th Anniversary of Independence.

The hugely popular and interactive radio programme “Straight Talk” airs twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays on WINNFM. The programme is also streamed live via the WINNFM Facebook page.

The radio show offers listeners the opportunity to phone in and make their contributions whether by airing their concerns, offering suggestions or to commend the Government on the work it has been doing over the last three years.

Listeners can participate by calling telephone numbers 466-0989, 662-0989, or by sending an email to straighttalk@winnfm.com.
