CLEAN ENERGY PROJECTS AND BENEFITS TO BE HIGHLIGHTED ON “WORKING FOR YOU”

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 06, 2018 (SKNIS): Several clean energy initiatives are currently underway in the federation with the aim of providing a service that is more reliable and affordable.

What those projects are and how they benefit all of us will be discussed in greater detail on the weekly radio and television programme “Working for You” on Wednesday, November 07, 2018.

The special guests will be Bertill Browne, Director of the Energy Unit; Rhon Boddie, Director of the Urban Development Unit; and Gawain Fraites, Public Relations Officer at the St. Kitts Electricity Company (SKELEC).

Also, as part of CARICOM Energy Month activities, the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Post, Urban Development; Transport, through its Energy Unit, and in collaboration with SKELEC and other institutions have planned an entire month of activities. The guests will give an overview of what the activities are, as well as other important undertakings by SKELEC and the Urban Development Unit that all resident and citizens should be aware of.

This week’s programme will be hosted by Jacqueline Bryan. “Working for You” offers news, views, reviews, interviews and all the happenings of the Team Unity Administration, which has pledged transparency, accountability, good governance and a fair share for all citizens of the Federation.

The programme features government officials, heads of government departments, permanent secretaries and other government officials who will provide you with timely, relevant and accurate information as it relates to the social, economic, human, political and sustainable development of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“Working for You” is carried live every Wednesday on ZIZ, WINN FM and Sugar City Rock from 1:30-3:00 pm and rebroadcast on Freedom FM, Von Radio on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 am and 10:30-12:00 pm respectively, and CBN-Radio on Sundays from 5:00-6:30 pm.
