TEECA PROGRAM- How to develop new partnerships with the French West Indies market?

Representatives of OECS, Caribbean Export Development Agency, the Chamber
of Commerce of Martinique and the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique, met in
Martinique on September 27th to officially close the Interreg TEECA program
launched 4 years ago.

26 Caribbean companies have benefited from the TEECA (Trade Enhancement
for Eastern Caribbean) program. Coming from 5 Caribbean countries, they all
have the ambition to develop in the French West Indies region. These
beneficiaries come from several sectors of activity: agribusiness, digital industry,
environment, fashion or music.

The selected companies have benefited from individual and collective support
for four years (2018-2022), in order to improve their knowledge of inter-regional
markets, develop new partnerships and strengthen their international
competitiveness, in particular through
international competitiveness, particularly through the integration of an
innovation approach.

To continue to support companies in the Caribbean market, the Trade
Facilitation Office created with TEECA and located in St. Lucia and Martinique
will continue to exist with a new Interreg program, called SCBC (Strengthening
the Caribbean Business Community)

To help companies better understand business development and establishment
in the target markets of the OECS zone, a Business Support Office has been
created. It will remain accessible to companies that wish to benefit from its
services after the end of the Interreg TEECA program.

It offers support to companies on the ground (BtoB meetings, company visits,
local events). It also ensures that they achieve the objectives they have set
themselves (sales and marketing strategy).
