Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Linguistics, Literature or a related
area from a recognized tertiary institution.
Must possess a Teaching Certificate or recognized teaching qualification.
Minimum of five (5) years’ teaching experience.
Successful experience in teaching tertiary level English / Communication Studies courses
would be considered an asset.
Main Responsibilities
Design teaching materials to sustain students’ interest.
Teach Communication Studies and other related courses.
Produce course outlines and review syllabi.
Set, mark and invigilate course work and exams.
Monitor students’ progress and academic development.
Enter attendance and grades in the Student Information System.
Foster and encourage intellectual curiosity.

Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the current
