Ministry of Health Engage in Cooperation Talks With St. Martin Medical Centre (SMMC)

Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, May 16, 2024 [Ministry of Health] – The Ministry of Health of St. Kitts and Nevis was honored to welcome a four-member delegation from the St. Martin Medical Centre (SMMC) earlier this week. This visit marks a significant step towards strengthening the healthcare collaboration between our federation and the esteemed medical facility.

The delegation from St. Martin Medical Centre engaged in fruitful discussions with senior hospital and ministry staff, focusing on opportunities for cooperation, networking, and capacity building for clinical staff. These discussions are expected to pave the way for enhanced medical services and shared expertise, ultimately benefiting the citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Mr. Curtis Martin, acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, warmly greeted the delegation and expressed his enthusiasm for the potential avenues of cooperation.
