This quarter’s update was presented through dynamic highlight reels showcasing bold initiatives and measurable results — from empowering entrepreneurs and expanding creative industries, to strengthening local agriculture, boosting fisheries innovation, and elevating national sports and culture.

In his address, Minister Duggins reminded the nation that, “Raising the standard is not merely a slogan — it is our duty, our calling, and the surest path to our nation’s greatest potential.”

Hon. Samal Duggins

He also underscored milestone achievements such as the Federation becoming the OECS leader in day-old chick supply, pioneering Caribbean king crab farming, hosting historic sports events, empowering women in business, and strengthening cultural and transatlantic ties — most notably through the historic direct flight from Nigeria and strategic partnerships with Aquarian Consult.

The press conference concluded with a robust Q&A session, giving the media an opportunity to engage directly with the Minister and ministry representatives, reinforcing the government’s commitment to transparency and action.

This Second Quarter Press Conference once again demonstrates that with clear vision, decisive action, and dedicated leadership, St. Kitts and Nevis will continue Raising the Standard for all its people.
