Basseterre, St. Kitts, 27 January 2026 - Key national stakeholders formalized their shared commitment to environmental sustainability with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Environment for Everyone (E.F.E.) Campaign championed by the Ministry of Environment, Climate Action and Constituency Empowerment’s Department of Constituency Empowerment.
The MOU brings together government agencies and partner institutions in a coordinated effort to foster cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable communities across St. Kitts and Nevis. It solidifies the collective resolve to advance national environmental wellness through community engagement, public education and awareness, coordinated clean-up initiatives, and long-term stewardship.
Grounded in a movement towards national environmental wellness, the Environment for Everyone Campaign emphasizes shared responsibility and collaborative action as central pillars of sustainable development. Through this agreement, partners commit to aligning resources, expertise, and operational efforts to strengthen environmental protection, cleanliness, and community resilience.
The signing marks a significant milestone that reinforces the message that the environment is a shared asset and responsibility. The Environment for Everyone Campaign will move forward to execute coordinated activities and public engagement initiatives that promote environmental wellness nationwide.
