MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER IN GILLARD MEADOWS INCIDENT

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 18, (RSCNPF): A suspect taken into custody on suspicion of the murder of Gregory Mills has been arrested, formally charged and cautioned.

Arrested and charged is Omax Bye, a 31year old male resident of Upper Shaw Avenue, McKnight.

He was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of murder which was committed on Tuesday (May 09).

Another suspect is being sought by Police.

Head of the Crime Directorate, Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Andre Mitchell said, “I want to commend the investigators and the Forensic Services Unit for their work on this case so far.  I also want to thank all who provided information as it related to this case;  the courage to come forward was appreciated.”

ACP Mitchell added, “we continue to encourage the general public to come forward with information regarding criminal activity. Sometimes the information the public may have is what is needed to make a break in an investigation.”

The general public can share information with the Police by calling any Police Station, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS) or by using the SKN Crime Reporter App on your Smartphone.
