Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word ‘yoga’ derives from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite, symbolizing the union of body and consciousness. Today it is practiced in various forms around the world and continues to grow in popularity. Recognizing its universal appeal, on 11 December 2014, the United Nations proclaimed 21st of June as International Yoga Day by resolution 69/131.
St Kitts & Nevis, The High Commission of India, Georgetown in Collaboration with Brahma Kumaris on Sunday 25th June 2017 will be holding an International Yoga Celebration at the beautifully appointed Royal St Kitts Hotel.

This FREE event will be open to yoga practitioners, enthusiasts, and also members of the public who are interested in yoga and would like to learn more or start practicing. The Celebration will commence at 4 pm.
Transportation to and from the event will be provided. Pick up locations will be announced a few days leading up to the event.
