Monday 17th July, 2017 (St. Kitts & Nevis) – The St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC) uses this medium to extend congratulations to Ms. Shakira Pitt for winning the 2017 Ms. Venus Swimsuit Pageant, held over the July 17th weekend in Anguilla. Ms. Pitt is the 3rd Ambassador to have been financially supported by the SKNNCC and the Ministry of Culture, who successfully traveled abroad this year, to represent St. Kitts.

In March, LAX won the Soca Competition in Montserrat, while Ms. Shantara Hewlett placed 2nd Runner-Up in April, at the Ms. Caribbean Unity Pageant held in Grenada. Ms. Katherina Davis is up next as she travels to Antigua later this month, to participate in the 2017 Ms. Jaycees Pageant, as our formal Ambassador.  Subsequently, King Rucas will be traveling to the BVI in August to represent St. Kitts in a Soca Competition.
