PRIME MINISTER HARRIS TO FURTHER ADDRESS NATION ON THREAT OF HURRICANE IRMA

 Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 05, 2017 (SKNIS)—Following last night’s address to the nation by Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris on the imminent threat of Hurricane Irma on the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, the honourable prime minister will further update the nation today September 5, 2017. Hurricane Irma has been upgraded to a category five (5) hurricane packing winds of up to 180 miles per hour (mph). It is considered an extremely dangerous storm and all residents and citizens are urged to take this hurricane seriously and adequately prepare for its impact on the evening of Tuesday September 5 and continuing on Wednesday September 6.

Find below the times that the prime minister’s address will be carried on state owned television ZIZ (Channel 5) and radio (96 FM) today: 4:00 pm; 4:30pm; 5:00pm; 6:00pm; 7:00pm; 8:00pm.
