SKNBS ISSUES COMPLIANCE DEADLINE FOR PRODUCT LABELLING REGULATIONS

Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 02, 2017 (RSCNPF): Officers from Police Division “B”,  The Old Road Police Station are investigating a traffic accident which occurred along the island’s main road in West Farms on Sunday night (October 01) around 10: 26pm.

Initial investigations revealed that three (3) vehicles were involved in the accident.

A Passenger Bus HA413, A Motor Car P4795 and a Motor jeep P5904.

HA413 and P4795 were travelling from Basseterre, while P5904 was travelling in the opposite when the accident occurred.

A 19 year old resident of Sandy Point, a passenger of the HA413  sustained injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene at about 11:30 pm by the District Medical Officer.

Other  injured passengers were taken to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for treatment.

The Diver of Motor Jeep P5904 was taken into custody.

The investigation continues.
