Marine Management Area and Habitat Monitoring Officer at the St. Kitts and Nevis Department of Marine Services, Ms. Tricia Greaux, ended the presentation by providing a detailed marine zone plan that thoroughly explained all protected zones and practices initiated by Marine Services to protect the natural habitat.
The St. Kitts team ended the presentation by highlighting the Resident Satisfaction Survey and the newly launched Yachting Strategic Plan and Advisory Committee, which caught the attention of some of the delegates who were asking questions.
Climate Smart Sustainable Tourism Forum is being held under the theme “Good For Us, Better for All,” bringing together local, regional and international tourism stakeholders and development agencies. Sessions range from a look at tourism resiliency through climate change adaptation to a road map to disaster management in the Caribbean. Organizing partners include the CTO, the St Kitts Ministry of Tourism, the St. Kitts Sustainable Destination Council, and Sustainable Travel International. |
