POLICE INVESTIGATING DOUBLE HOMICIDE

Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 02, 2018 (RSCNPF): The Police are investigating an incident that occurred in Keys Village on March 01 in which two sisters were killed. 

Thursday afternoon, Police responded to a report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, they found the motionless bodies of 18-year-old Naomi Finch and 21-year-old Jamilla Finch lying close to the seashore with what appeared to be chop wounds.

The District Medical Officer visited the scene and pronounced both dead. The Forensic Unit processed the scene and items of evidential value were taken into police custody. One male suspect is also in Police custody. Investigations into the matter are ongoing. Persons with information regarding this incident are urged to contact the Violent Crime Unit at the Basseterre Police Station 465-2241 or their nearest police station.
