Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 10, 2018 (SKNIS)—The discussion on Wednesday’s (April 11) “Working for You” programme will be on Exercise Tradewinds 2018, phase one of which will take place in St. Kitts from June 4-12, 2018. Phase two will take place in the Bahamas from June 13-21, 2018.
Captain Kayode Sutton of the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF), who is the chair of Exercise Tradewinds 2018, and Claricia Langley-Stevens, Deputy Chair with responsibility for Human Disaster Response Management (HDRM) will be the special guests on the popular government programme.
HDRM looks at the organization and management of resources and responsibilities for dealing with all humanitarian aspects of emergencies (preparedness, response, and recovery).
About 26 countries are expected to participate in Tradewinds 2018, a multi-national and multi-dimensional maritime, internal security and disaster relief operation in the Caribbean. Phase one of the training will involve training of all of the security forces and partner nations, synchronizing their skills and tactics which will prepare them for successful execution during phase two in the Bahamas.

“Working for You” is carried live every Wednesday on ZIZ, WinnFM and Sugar City Rock from 1:30-3:00 pm and rebroadcast on Freedom FM and Von Radio on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00am and 10:30-12:00pm respectively.
