The importance of the diasporic community to national development will be the topic on Working for You on Wednesday, May 30

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 29, 2018 (SKNIS) — The important role that the diasporic community plays in national development will be the featured topic on the weekly radio and television programme “Working for You” on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

Ms. Kaye Bass, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chair of the Planning Committee for the Diaspora Conference 2018, and Mr. Calvin James, Chair of the Local Organizing Committee for ANSAR 2018, will be the special guests.

The first ever Diaspora Conference will be held at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort Conference Room from June 26-28, 2018, under the theme “Building Partnerships Towards Sustainable Development” and the 18th Anguilla Nevis and St. Kitts Associations Reunion (ANSAR) will be held in St. Kitts from June 22-24, 2018, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and the Royal St. Kitts Hotel.

Hosted by Lesroy Williams, “Working for You” offers news, views, reviews, interviews and all the happenings of the Team Unity Administration, which has pledged transparency, accountability, good governance and a fair share for all citizens of the Federation.

 

The programme features government officials, heads of government departments, permanent secretaries and other government officials who will provide you with timely, relevant and accurate information as it relates to the social, economic, human, political and sustainable development of St. Kitts and Nevis

 

“Working for You” is carried live every Wednesday on ZIZ, WinnFM and Sugar City Rock from 1:30-3:00 pmand rebroadcast on Freedom FM and Von Radio on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00am and 10:30-12:00pmrespectively. The programme is also streamed live on the SKNIS Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/sknismedia/
