Because of ongoing repairs and upgrades at several of the Sporting complexes, including Warner Park, the Department of Sport will be having a scaled down version of its summer developmental camp activities.  This year the Department will partner with some of the National Sports Federations on some programmes and will undertake the organising of one week programmes in others.  The collaborations include

Handball    National Handball Association

Volleyball   St. Kitts and Nevis Amateur Volleyball Association

Basketball  Reach One Teach One Basketball Camp/St. Kitts Amateur Basketball Association

Additionally, the Department is organising programmes in

Netball

Football

Cricket

Athletics (Jump Camp)

The change enables the Department to continue much needed work on many of its facilities and also to foster more creative relationships with our many co-stakeholders.  Discussions are also taking place for additional activities for later in the summer to include collaboration with some of our martial arts federations.

Interested parties can get more information from the Department of Sports, at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium, Skybox 6; or by calling 466 1450.
