Government Announces Tax Relief on School Supplies for Back-to-School Season

Main Responsibilities
1. Procurement functions
a. Receive and process authorized internal requisitions
b. Obtain quotations from vendors
c. Ensure that adequate stocks are maintained of necessary operating supplies
d. Prepare authorized local purchase orders
e. Receive supplies into the storeroom and distribute as per authorized requisitions
f. Prepare C101 forms for duty free concessions and track overseas orders
g. Update the computerized Supplies Inventory System
h. Perform stocktaking of supplies and fixed assets
2. Assist with Accounts Payable functions
a. Assist with receiving, verifying, scanning and entering invoices in QuickBooks
b. Assist with preparing cheques and the dispatch and collection of cheques
c. Assist with maintaining vendor files in filing cabinet

Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the current
salary structure at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College.

COMPUTER SCIENCE / INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LECTURER

Qualifications and Experience
• Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or
a related field from a recognized tertiary institution
• A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field from a
recognized tertiary institution would be considered an asset
• IT certification would be considered an asset
• IT industry experience would be considered an asset
• Successful experience in teaching tertiary level Computer Science or Information Technology
courses would be considered an asset.

Main Responsibilities
• Design teaching materials to sustain students’ interest
• Teach the Computer Science and Information Technology courses
• Produce course outlines and review syllabi
• Set, mark and invigilate course work and exams
• Monitor students’ progress and academic development
• Enter attendance and grades in Student Information System
• Foster and encourage intellectual curiosity
