GOVERNMENT HOUSE SAINT CHRISTOPHER AND NEVIS Press Release
This morning (Tuesday 5th January, 2021) a new Husqvarna 21″ 3-IN-I Electric Start Lawn Mower was presented to the Dorset Park Committee on behalf of the Governor-General His Excellency Sir S W Tapiey Seaton, This is a personal
contribution by His Excellency to the Dorset Park to enhance its continued maintenance and upkeep.
His Excellency hails from the Market Street and Dorset Community and wishes to contribute to the community sporting activities in the area.
Making the presentation on Sir Tapley’s behalf were the Director of Government House, Mrs Charisse Gumbs, Ms Avril Mc Koy, a former National female basketballer, Major Lynn Wilkin and Inspector Alphonso Hendrickson, QPM.
The lawn mower was presented to Mrs Viola Phillip, Member of the Committee and also the Caretaker of the Park, in the presence of Mr E. James “Barman” Hanley, Chairperson of the Committee and President of the Rams Hitters Basketball Club and Mr Nigel Browne the Assistant to Mrs Phillip.
