COVID-19 (Prevention and Control) (Amendment) Order, 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the COVID-19 (Prevention and Control) Act, No. 16 of 2020, the Chief Medical Officer makes the following Emergency Order:

PRIME MINISTER HARRIS CONGRATULATES EMANI SAMUEL, INDEPENDENCE 38 THEME WINNER

  1. Interpretation.

In this Order

“Order” means the COVID-19 (Prevention and Control) Order, No. 14 of 2021.

  • Amendment of section 1(2).

Section 1 subsection (2) of the Order is amended by replacing the expression “Tuesday 8th June, 2021” with the expression “22nd June, 2021”.

  • Amendment of section 4(d).

Section 4 paragraph (d) of the Order is amended by replacing it as follows

“(d) the driver, master or crew ensures that there

(a) are no more than two passengers on each row of seats onboard the vehicle; (b) is no more than 50% passenger capacity onboard the vessel; and”.
