25 Most Remarkable Teens

Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, November 30, 2022 (Press Secretary’s Office): A special sitting of the National Assembly will be held on Wednesday 30th November 2022 at 6:30pm at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, Frigate Bay, to award the 25 Most Remarkable Teens in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The teens will be honoured in several categories, namely, Youth Activism, Personal Decision to Change, Spirit of Hope, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Academics, Sports, Courage to Overcome, Volunteerism, Most Promising, and Performing Arts.

The programme includes a message from the Governor General of St. Kitts and Nevis, Sir W. Tapley Seaton G.C.M.G., C.V.O., Q.C., J.P.; announcements by the Speaker of the House of Assembly Hon. Lanien Blanchette; special remarks by the Junior Minister and Minister of Youth Empowerment, Social Development, Gender Affairs, Aging and Disabilities, Hon. Isalean Phillip; and brief remarks by the Director of Youth Empowerment, Mr. Pierre Liburd.

The individual profiles of this year’s 25 Most Remarkable Teens will be read by the current CARICOM Youth Ambassadors, followed by an Award Presentation by Members of Parliament.

Following the special National Assembly sitting, a cocktail reception hosted by the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew will be held at the Marriott’s St. Kitts Beach Club in honour of the 25 Most Remarkable Teens.
