Tender Title: Purchase of an Industrial Ice Machine

The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis through the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Marine Resources, and Co-operatives is pleased to submit a tender for the purchase of an Industrial Ice Machine for the Dieppe Bay Fisheries Complex, as per the specifications outlined in the tender notice.

1. Scope of Work:

The scope of work for this tender includes the purchase and installation of a high capacity industrial ice machine at the Dieppe Bay Fisheries Complex. The machine should meet the following specifications:

  • Ice Production Capacity:        2,000 pounds of ice every 24 hours
  • Ice Type :                                   Crushed Ice or Cracked Ice
  • Cooling Method:                      Air Cooled/Water Cooled
  • Power Supply:                          208-240/1/60 (phase unit: 110 V or 220V)
  • Dimensions:                             L22″ x WI 7″ XH30″ (559mm x 762mm)
  • Installation:                               The tender should include the cost of installation                                                          and commissioning, including any necessary                                                                plumbing or electrical work.

2. Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria

All interested bidders must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Proof of business registration/incorporation
  • Financial stability and solvency
  • Experience in supplying ice machines to similar organizations.
  • Compliance with all applicable regulations and standards

3. Submission of Tenders

Interested bidders are requested to submit their tenders in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the tender reference number and the words “Purchase of an Industrial Ice Machine.” Tenders should be submitted to the following address on or before Friday, 21st July, 2023 at 2:30 pm.

The following documents should be included in the tender submission.

Technical Proposal:

  • Detailed description of the proposed industrial ice machine, including specifications, features, and manufacturer’s information.
  • Compliance pa up specified requirements.
  • Details of any additional services offered, such as installation, training, or maintenance support.

Financial Proposal:

  • Price quotation for the ice machine, including all applicable taxes and charges.
  • Payment terms and conditions.

Supporting Documents:

  • Proof of business registration/incorporation
  • Company profile and background
  • References from previous clients for similar projects
  • Any additional documents or information to support the bid

4. Evaluation and Award Process

Upon the submission deadline, the Ministry of Agriculture et al will evaluate the received tenders based on the evaluation criteria mentioned above. The Ministry reserves the right to seek clarifications or conduct negotiations with the bidders if required.

The contract will be awarded to the bidder whose tender is deemed to be the most responsive and advantageous to the Dieppe Bay Fisheries Complex. The decision of the Ministry of Agriculture et al will be final and binding.

 • Deadline for Submission of Tenders: Friday, 21st July 2023
