Cuban Scholarships for the 2024 Academic Year

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce the offer of scholarships for the 2024 academic year from the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba.

The Ministry has the honour to inform that Cuba is offering 20 scholarships in the areas listed below:

UN RESIDENT COORDINATOR CONGRATULATES ST KITTS AND NEVIS ON 40 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE

Seven (7) – Medicine
Seven (7) – Bachelor of Nursing
Four (4) – Postgraduate Medicine
One (1) – Health Technology
One (1) Non-medical career

Kindly note that only those individuals who graduated in Cuba are eligible to apply for the postgraduate degree and those individuals who wish to apply for a bachelor’s degree must be under 25 years of age.

All applicants must present a copy of a degree or high school diploma, copy of transcript, health certificate inclusive of a negative HIV test and a negative pregnancy test (females), ten 1×1 inch size photos, police record, and a birth certificate.

These documents must be accompanied by a legalized Spanish copy.

Interested parties should be citizens of Saint Kitts and Nevis and must come from a low-income family.

Please note that all documents are to be submitted to Ms. Jamilah Adams at Human Resources by 4th September 2023.
