Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 22, 2023 (SKNIS): The Office of the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations for Barbados and the OECS has wished St. Kitts and Nevis heartfelt congratulations on the 40th Anniversary of Independence which was celebrated on September 19, 2023.

“This milestone is a testament to your country’s resilience, dedication and progress,” it said in a message sent to the government. “We look forward as a UN Team to partnering with your government to accelerate progress for people and planet, in keeping with the Sustainable Development Goals.”
