Basseterre, St. Kitts, 7 th November 2024 (CFBC): The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) is set
to host an insightful, inaugural panel discussion in celebration of World Quality Day on 14 th November.
This annual event, recognized globally, aims to highlight the importance of quality in various sectors.
This year’s theme- “Quality: from Compliance to Performance,”- emphasises the vital role of quality
assurance in moving organizations from mere compliance to fostering excellence and reliability in
products, services and operations to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations.
The panel discussion, which is a part of World Quality Week (11 th -14 th November), will be held on 14 th
November, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Poinciana Conference Room at the CFBC’s Main
Campus located at Burdon Street, Basseterre.
The panel will feature experts who will share their insights on how organisations can evolve their quality
practices to not only meet compliance requirements but also drive continuous improvement and
outstanding performance. Each panelist brings a wealth of experience and expertise in quality
management from their respective fields including education, health, finance and industry, promising a
comprehensive and enlightening discussion on the theme.
The distinguished lineup of panelists includes Mr. Desroy Tate, Quality Manager at Carib Brewery (St.
Kitts & Nevis) Ltd; Mr. Stuart LaPlace, Director of the St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards; Ms.
Tamara Liddie, Quality Assurance Officer at Joseph Nathaniel France General Hospital; Mr. Terrence
Crossman, First Chair and Managing Director of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Ltd; and Mrs.
Trisha Francis, Executive Director of the St. Kitts and Nevis Accreditation Secretariat.
