Survey of Living Conditions and Household Budgetary Survey

The Department of Statistics in the Ministry of Sustainable Development wishes to notify the general public that the Survey of Living Conditions and Household Budgetary Survey (SLC-HBS), one of the main components of the Enhanced Country Poverty Assessment that commenced in 2018, is still ongoing.

Herein, a sample of the household population was selected for enumeration, and households selected are asked to offer their fullest cooperation.

This survey seeks to collect important information on housing, living standards, education, health, employment and consumption patterns in order to establish multi-dimensional indicators of poverty and related Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicators, as a means of identifying the key socio-economic issues facing our country, and achieving the national development objectives.
