Acknowledging that Minister Hamilton has only served as a minister of government for two years, Saunders noted that his in-depth knowledge of the Federation’s Constitution allowed him to question the modus operandi former administration thus educating the masses, while adding, “Our people are better off today because of his contribution.”
Saunders further spoke to the minister’s knowledge of the Standing Orders- the rules which govern Parliament, indicating that this knowledge may have led to the minister’s appointment as leader of government business in the House.
